Mystic Wonders Review and Giveaway! Closed!

This giveaway is closed!
"Mystic Wonders Inc. (MWI) was born 1-01-01. MWI is the result of two small Iowa companies combining their years of knowledge and ability to design, formulate and enhance safe everyday products. With their concern for the environment MWI concentrated on perfecting the laundry ball to the best laundry aid possible that would work through physics and at a price the consumer would appreciate. The cost is only $1.11 per month to use. The Consumer Protection Group of Omaha NE subjected the original MWI formulation to a thorough 3-week testing program in 1998. The results of testing the laundry aid were very positive. “Yes, the laundry ball does treat the water; you still need to pre-treat stains as claimed.” It is the science of tomorrow here today."

I was recently sent the Complete Laundry System from Mystic Wonders. I had heard about it while searching for more eco-friendly laundry options, and was thrilled to finally be able to try it! The Complete Laundry System includes one Wonder Laundry Ball and two Wonder Dryer Balls.

The Wonder Laundry Ball is a frequency enhanced mineral blend contained by a safe PVC/vinyl ball. The instructions for the Wonder Laundry Ball were super easy! Just toss the ball into your washer with the clothes. No other detergents needed. And that's all there is to it! No measuring, no pouring, no messes. We actually just leave the ball in the washer all the time. It's much easier so that I don't forget to put it back in with every wash.
We first tried the ball with a load of our white laundry. Now, the information for the ball said that it could take a few washes to really get the set-in stains and old detergent residue out. But, we noticed a big difference, just after that one wash. The whites were whiter. The same goes for when we tried it with the colors! Since we got the Wonder Laundry Ball, we've only used detergent once or twice, it's just not needed!

Did I mention that the Wonder Laundry Ball is chemical free? That is good news for you and your little ones! And it lasts about 3 years or 2,000 washes! Think of all the detergent you'll save. That is a lot of money back in your wallet!

Right after we had the Lovebug, I was looking for a better way to dry our clothes. It was then that I found the love of dryer balls. So, we bought two, and they live in our dryer. When I received the Wonder Dryer Balls, I tossed those in the dryer, along with the first two. The more the merrier, right?
I don't know how we lived without these before. With only two dryer balls, I had noticed a big difference. And now with four? It takes no time at all to dry. I have the dryer set to low heat, and we still barely need the full cycle. The little nubs on the Wonder Dryer Ball help to soften, too. We've never had an issue with our clothing being hard or stiff.

At almost $50.00, the initial investment may seem a bit much. But do the math! The Complete Laundry System is "loads" cheaper than buy detergent and dryer sheets monthly!
Do I love the Complete Laundry System? Absolutely!

I was also sent a sample of Lip Wonder and Wonder Balm. Both of these rock! After using the Lip Wonder, my lips felt so hydrated and smooth! I used the Wonder Balm on my daughter's diaper rash, and by the next diaper change, it was gone! These products are amazing!

Hi!

I love anything that it more natural - and it sounds like you can't get much more natural than this! I have heard about these before but I have been timid to try them. Would be so cool to win!

The other product? THe Ayate Cloths! I have heard that they work really well.

I'm also interested in their Duck Tape Magnets - they have water conditioning properties. My mom was into some products with magnets and I know they can be amazing!

I just switched to Charlie's Soap (from All Free & Clear) as I'm going to start cloth diapering soon. However, I think that using less or NO detergent is much more preferable AND safer for my new baby's skin than even the most 'eco-friendly' cleaners out there.

I want to try prill beads! I think it is so cool that they continue to clean new yucky water forever! (And Florida tap water is really yucky!)

Lauren said...

Currently, it takes at least 2 cycles in the dryer to dry my diapers. After a wash that includes 2 cold rinses, a warm wash and another warm rinse, that is A LOT of energy used and wasted! I would love to try dryer balls!

What an interesting store! So many different interesting things! The Jesn Massage Ball seems like something my husband and I would enjoy having around.

I just started using Charlies Soap on all of my laundry. It isn't cheap or easy to get. I'd love to try something else, especially dryer balls to shorted dryer time.

I am interested in the Pascalite Clay. As someone who spends a lot of times in the outdoors over the summer and with a 2 year old, we always get bug bites. This would be a great thing to relieve the itching without worrying about what chemicals are in it.

Also, has your little one ever gotten a splinter? If so, have you ever tried to get it out? Our little boy got a splinter a few weeks ago and because it was sore and the simple fact that he's 2 years old and doesn't sit still, we had to leave it in. This would have been a lifesaver to help get that small little sliver out.

And for those occasional, annoying breakouts, this product would be wonderful!!!

Corrie said...

Our current laundry routine consists of Tide laundry detergent & multiple trips to the dryer to feed it more quarters since we live in an apartment and share a community dryer. Of course, those dryers always take twice as long!!!

I want to try the Complete Laundry System because it is free of the chemicals. My son & I both have exzema and something that can clean our clothes and be chemical free would be GREAT for our skin!

I can't imagine the money we would save drying our clothes with these dryer balls! Not to mention the money we will save on detergent & dryer sheets! I am excited to see if I'm one of the lucky ones to give this a try!!!

My current laundry routine is in the apt laundry room - with purex free and no dryer sheet (since the baby) ... so I would love these because I always have to pay for the dryer to go twice because it never quite finishes the first time. I do about 5 loads every two weeks and then 2 load of cloth diaper every week with tiny bubbles detergent.

My current laundry routine involves whatever detergent is on sale and bounce dryer sheets. I will be cloth diapering soon with my new born and he will probably need a free and clear type detergent, but this system would be best all around. I can see it saving us money and hard times trying out different detergents on baby's sensitive skin.

My current routine for diapers: wet pail with Bac Out soak. Then cold/cold rinse with the whole wet pail, liquid and all. Then hot/cold with 4-5 soap nuts, with 2 wet bath towels (it's an HE front loader). Then another hot/cold or warm/warm, without the soap nuts. Into the dryer with 2 Nellie's dryer ball on med.

Okay, my laundry technique at the moment is by hand in a bucket in a wash basin in the garage, with rockin' green soap, and very tired arms! Otherwise it's rockin' green at my mom's house. I could go into detail, but that's what my blog is for, silly!

currently we don't have many whites so laundry is sorted between light and dark. Most items are permanent press so I use those washer and dryer settings. With 4 people, I usually have 2 loads a day and seldom let the laundry accumulate more than into the second day. We haven't had an outside clothesline for 15 years and 3 different houses. Dryer is used for most of the clothes.
My daughter has sensitive skin and we use fragrance free detergent. I would love to try the Complete Laundry System to see how it helps her.
