Baby Rock Apparel Review and Discount!

The following review is a guest post by Slee, you can check her out at her blog Paisley and Pretties! Thanks, Slee!

What Rocks? Baby Rock Apparel.

Founded in 2004, Baby Rock Apparel was created out of the necessity to clothe infant, baby and toddler boys in trendy baby clothes. Baby Rock Apparel was among the first baby clothes manufacturers to offer hip baby clothes with an edge for boys and girls. The market is crowded with followers, but Baby Rock continues to lead the pack with inovative stylish designs on one-pieces, t-shirts, hoodies, caps and beanies.

Baby Rock Apparel carries rockin’ cute clothes all the way from 3-6mo, like the “Boob Man"onesie, to an 8T, like their Rock Royalty Hoodie. Baby Rock Apparel also carries a variety of rockin’ awesome hats, like the Rock Royalty Fedora, and tattoo baby shoes. Come on, Tattoo baby shoes, now that’s cool. Baby Rock Apparel also carries trendy accessories, such as a pee-pee tee-pee with skulls. Along that line, Baby Rock Apparel also introduced the comical and yet kind of smart Tinkle Tube . And yes, it is for just what it sounds like.

I like Baby Rock Apparel because a mama can only take so many cutesy-wootsey giraffes. I mean seriously, if you had to wear an elephant fire-fighter polo or a teddy bear bedecked pair of pants, you just might need to check into the nearest mental institution. Right? So I can’t help but think that maybe every so often my baby deserves to dress with a little more style and attitude than the next cartoon character baby tee allows for. With Baby Rock Apparel, attitude and style are pretty much a given.

Snapdragon likes Baby Rock Apparel because the clothes are cute and comfy. When we were sent the Go-Green Rocker onesie, I was pretty excited. What was even more exciting was trying it on Snapdragon and seeing how comfortable he was in it. All too often I’ll put something cute on him, only to find my little punk-rock baby looks cute but fussy because of the scratchy insides of his clothes. But all in all, he was glowingly happy. If I could improve on their product at all, I would suggest printing the tag info inside the shirt instead of sewing in a tag, because for kids with sensory issues, that just leads to mom having to cut a tag out. Tag in or out, though, Snapdragon loves it so much he's glowing. Or is that just red-eye?

Karma likes (or should like) Baby Rock Apparel because they donate a portion of their profits to The Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Kimberly Strayer, Baby Rock Apparel’s president, said "Cancer has impacted our family like it has so many others, so we found it fitting to contribute to this great foundation to help kids.” I admit it, I like that too.

The nitty gritty:

Does it wash up well? I’ve only washed it about five times, but yes, it washes up well. The onesie we were sent isn’t pilling, it isn’t coming apart at the seams, and is just as green as the day we got it.

Customer service? They had really timely shipping. I was actually shocked at how quickly the onesie got here.

Where’s all this stuff made? I was surprised that I couldn't find that info on the tag of the onesie we reviewed, but when I asked, I was told that their clothes are made in the USA. I'm down with that.

I was disappointed that they don't have an environmental policy, but overall, I'm still quite pleased with them.

You can follow Baby Rock Apparel on Twitter.

Disclosure: I received a free sample onesie to review, and no other compensation.
