I am really bad at working out. I had picked up a few exercise DVDs while I was pregnant, that I fully intended to do, but pregnancy wore me out too much, and then with a baby that just wanted me to hold her, most exercises were out. Which, I'll admit, I didn't have a problem with.
Until I realized that even though I had only gained 11 lbs while pregnant, and dropped 30 of them after delivery, those 19 limbo lbs were somehow finding their way back to me (and my stomach, and my arms, and my....)

Enter in Chicks-n-Chickens and their Lullaby Exercises. I tried this out by myself one night. My Lovebug was sleeping, and I wanted to use the DVD without her to get a feel for it. Oh did I feel it! The next day I popped my daughter into the sling before nap time, and grooved to the 35 minute workout. Not only did I feel good afterward, but my little chicken was asleep! All the movin' and groovin' lulled her to sleep. And it worked the next day, and the next. And there were even a few late nights that I turned on the sleep section of Lullaby Exercises and held my Lovebug, danced, calming her down.

In the DVD, Darcy and her workout buddies used an adjustable pouch sling. I don't have one of those, but I did try the Lullaby Exercises in every type of baby carrier I own. I didn't have an issue with any of them, so I think it's safe to say that no matter how you carry your chicken, you can move along with the exercise!

After a only a week of using the Chicks-n-Chickens Lullaby Exercises, I felt so much better. I didn't track to see if there was any significant weight loss, but feeling better was what mattered most to me. Plus, I didn't get bored. Walking to some DVD was a drag, but I felt like I was having fun with this exercise. The only downside? I wish I would have found this earlier! I know I would have kept all that weight off!

Did I mention that Lullaby Exercises also comes with a CD of all the awesome music used during the workouts? I can't help but sing along while working out, and the CD is in my car now! Lullaby Exercises never leaves the TV area. That way, I can just pop it in as soon as I need it.
