Halloween crafts- Ghost footprints

Your child is never too little to participate in crafts! Yesterday, I took Lovebug to my Mom's house, and we made ghosts! It's super easy too.

All you need is:
  • black construction paper
  • thick white paint
  • black paint
  • paint brush
  • wet washcloth
I wish I had gotten step by step pictures, but I'm lousy and didn't think of it until later.

Step one- Prep. This is most important. You don't want to be midway through and realize you forgot something. Lay out the papers, paints, and paint brush. Be sure to dress your little one in something you don't mind paint getting on. Just in case.

Step two- Use the paint brush to cover your child's foot in white paint. Make sure it's a decently thick layer. Better to have too much than too little.

Step three- Press your child's foot onto the paper. The heel will be the "head" of the ghost. If there is still a good amount of paint left on your child's foot, you can press down again to get a second ghost!

Step four- Clean up your child's foot and let the paint dry. Once dry, use the black paint to add a face!

PS- See the invisible ghost on the side of the picture? That is what happens when you don't add nearly enough paint. Oops!

How cute! I love that this has no age limit, but also it would be a great keepsake!

I'd love to try this with my daughters! they'd love this!
