No Poo, part four!

I've put four weeks of No 'Poo behind me, and I'm headed into week five! How has the past four weeks went, you ask? Great! Just take a look at these pictures!

See the difference? I do! And not only can I see how much healthier, how much stronger, and how much softer it is, I can really feel it. Running my fingers through my hair prior to going No 'Poo was like feeling a burlap sack. Okay it wasn't that bad, but now compared to then, and you'd make the same comparison.

I've pretty much been keeping with the same routine. A few tbsp of baking soda mixed with water, rubbed on a wet scalp. Rise well. Followed by a lemon juice water mix to condition. Again, rinse well.

I have occasionally added honey to the lemon juice. It's supposed to help as well, I just can't remember how at the moment. And, if I'm feeling frisky remember, I add a little bit of essential oil. Doesn't hurt to smell yummy :)

I really need to try this! I've got very long hair & have been struggling to find a shampoo that works well without needing to wash my hair every day. I hate spending a fortune to add chemicals to my hair!
