Crunchy Clean Soap Review and Giveaway! Closed!

"I started making our detergent when we got married in an effort to be friendlier to the environment and save us money, since I was still in grad school. I'm a speech therapist turned chemist! ;) We loved the detergent, and our family loved it as well. When my little girl was born, my husband suggested on a whim one day that I list our detergent on etsy.com and see what happens - I made a sale within 5 minutes, and thus started my crazy work at home mom life! We started using cloth diapers around that time, and the necessity for a cloth diaper detergent where I didn't have to worry about build up or stink or horrible rashes came to my attention! We worked on it for a little while, and then came up with our recipe which was received with much excitement. It worked great for my little girl's sensitive bum, plus I loved scenting her cloth diapers! Now, almost 2 years later we've recently changed our recipes to reflect the need for mamas with hard water - in the process of doing this, I realized this new recipe works even better on our cloth diapers! We also just introduced a new pail deoderizing powder, which is wonderful for not only diaper pails but carpet (child and pet safe!), trash cans, litter boxes and any other use you can think of -its called Sprinkles! My husband and I work most of our free time making and selling the detergent, and I feel so blessed to be able to stay home with my little girl and work to keep our kids safe from chemicals and use safer products for the earth!"

Back in November, I received a yummy smelling package from Crunchy Clean. Inside were four scents that smelled so good, I had to remind myself it was detergent and NOT food. I couldn't wait to try it out. Even though it wasn't laundry day, I threw in a load of towels with one of the every day laundry soaps. It smelled so good while washing! After I took the towels out of the wash, they felt clean. They didn't smell like they were scented anymore. They just smelled clean!

When our new bed set came, I took the comforter and Crunchy Clean to the laundromat for the BIG washer. Once I scooped some of it in, other people started walking over, sniffing the air asking what I was using. I happily told them Crunchy Clean! I even let another lady who was washing her clothes, try it out! I thought the best part was that the comforter didn't hold the scent. While it smelled good, I can't imagine trying to sleep while smelling chocolate cake or cookies next to my face.

The cloth diapers laundry soap is just as awesome. It has some of the same delicious scents, but in a form that is safe to use on your little one's diapers. I have to admit, we've been a little more lax on using this. When I fall into a routine that works with my cloth diapers, it's hard to break it and try something new. I did use it exclusively for about 5 weeks. In that time, I had no problems what so ever with smells, repelling, and no rashes on my daughter! I feel like it super cleaned the diapers!
