Be Nice Review and Giveaway!

"Wouldn't it be nice if there was a healthy and delicious beverage specially made for moms-to-be? Something that wasn't loaded with sugar or caffeine or artificial sweeteners? Something that tasted good AND was good for you? These are the questions I used to ask myself all the time when I was pregnant with my son, Michael. Because like most moms-to-be, good nutrition was a top priority for me. And I was determined to do what was best for my baby and my body, but I was surprised to find that healthy drink options were few and far between. Not even my mom – who has been a labor doula and lactation consultant for over 20 years, and usually has all the answers! – could recommend anything that fit the bill. I would search high and low for a healthy alternative, but I kept returning to the same old reliable (but let’s face it, sometimes boring) glass of water. And that’s when I decided to create Be Nice."

The wonderful world of Twitter first connected me to the Be Nice site. Someone else had mentioned it, and since I'd never heard of Be Nice, I checked it out. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was a prenatal vitamin drink mix! Be Nice is fortified with folic acid, B-complex vitamins and minerals, and life's DHA, Even though I'm no longer pregnant, I've continued to take my prenatal while I breastfeed. Unfortunately, they don't always sit well in my stomach. But, I've continued to take them, as there aren't too many other options.

Even just reading about Be Nice, I knew it would be a great vitamin alternative or addition to anyone pregnant or nursing! Be Nice was sweet enough to send me a few boxes of their prenatal vitamin mix in both flavors, Berrylicious and Lemonade!

While both flavors are delicious, I think Lemonade is my favorite. And it's so easy, just pour into a bottle of water and shake! Be Nice doesn't make me queasy, sick to my stomach, or anything! It just tastes good! I look forward to drinking Be Nice while pregnant, breastfeeding, or just trying to get healthier! This is definitely a vitamin that I don't mind sticking to!

Companies that try to be eco-friendly really grab my attention, too! And Be Nice is one of them! Their packaging is made from recycled paper and created in a factory that uses 100% wind energy. And... Cynthia, Director of Marketing, is working towards getting Be Nice certified organic and vegan in the near future! How awesome are they?
