iCandy Review and Giveaway! Closed!

Last Fall, I contacted Heather, the founder of Urban Fluff. I had heard about her diapers, and had to try them! Heather quickly responded that they were in the process of designing a new diaper and they would love for me to try it!
With the new diaper, iCandy, there was a goal in mind. "Our goal was to bring you a gorgeous diaper that featured tons of amazing designer prints BUT we would not tolerate any wicking or leaking!"

When I first received the iCandy diaper, my first thought was, "Wow, this is big." I had asked for the toddler (15-35 lbs). After a couple washes, my first thought was confirmed. Even though my not quite one year old was around 20 lbs, it was too big. I want to clarify that there was nothing wrong with the diaper. It is an adorable print, and I'm sure it will fit Lovebug soon! It was just too big for her tiny butt :)

I contacted Urban Fluff again, to let Heather know about the size issue. She kindly offered to send the smaller, infant (birth-20 lbs) size out to us! When the smaller size arrived, I had the opposite thought. I was pretty sure there was no way that it was going to fit my daughter. I hurried up and washed it so I could try it on her. It stretched, and stretched some more, and it fit Lovebug perfectly (it still fits at 13 months!!). There is a cross over tab on the waist, so it will definitely fit a small waist to a larger waist!

I am more than pleased with the iCandy diaper. Since there are only two sizes, you won't need to make several purchases for 3 or more different sizes. Two sizes, it fits, and done! They wash wonderfully, too! We've had no fading of the outside wrapper, and the inside is just as soft as when we got it!

I wasn't sure that I would like that there are three pieces to the iCandy. The wrapper, a liner, and then the soaker. But it's super easy, and doesn't really take anymore time to put together than stuffing a regular pocket diaper! I've even been able to put a infant size prefold in the elasticized liner. It worked great with no leaks!

The only thing I'm not sure about with the iCandy is that there is no way to adjust the rise (like through snaps). It stretches pretty well though, so I believe this takes the place of it. My daughter hasn't grown too much since we started using the diaper, so it will take a couple more months to make sure that the stretchiness can take the place of an adjustable rise. I have a feeling it will more than see my daughter to potty training!
