Skin MD Natural Review and Giveaway! Closed!

I have awfully dry skin. In the winter, it only seems to get worse. My feet and elbows might as well belong to a crocodile. It takes a lot of lotion and it feels like I'm constantly having to reapply it. So, when Skin MD Natural contacted me, asking if I wanted to review their product, I jumped on it!

When the Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion arrived, I read the directions and was a little concerned that it said to reapply every few hours at first. I wasn't sure I had the time or would even remember to put it on. However, in just a few applications, the skin on both my elbows and feet had improved. My skin was softer and really felt moisturized.

After trying it for myself, I felt confident that I could use it on my daughter. Her rough patches were gone in just a few days! Plus, the Shielding Lotion not only hydrates the skin, but protects it from irritants as well. With a curious toddler, skin protection is very important to me!

Want to hear something neat? The company recently installed 350 roof top solar panels to power their lab. Even better, is that on some days they might only need 70% of the power generated by the panels. The remaining 30% can be drawn by the city. So it's win-win for both the company, and their city!

I now use the Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion on myself about 2 times a week and on Lovebug about once a week. They also make a lotion with SPF 15, that combines the best of a shielding lotion and the bests of a sunscreen! This would be a great everyday moisturizer!

Skin MD Natural has kindly offered to give one Moma Lovebug reader a prize pack of the Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion!

A shielding lotion keeps moisture-robbing irritants away from the skin while the proprietary "super" humectants hydrate the skin throughout the day.

Daily use of most soaps and cleansers can greatly reduce your skin's natural ability to repel the thousands of irritants and toxins that are commonly found in the home and work place. Once these irritants penetrate your outer layer of skin they can cause dry skin conditions, eczema, psoriasis, skin allergies and many other less desirable skin and health problems. Thanks.

In order for the skin to heal and return to its healthy condition you have to seal in the moisture and oils that are below the outer layer of skin and protect it from the irritants in the environment
