Allens Feast Your Veggies on This Contest

Recently, Allens was kind enough to send me two free coupons to try their products. I actually had to look a little harder in one of our grocery stores for the brand. But another store had more options. I choose to try their Great Northern Beans, for use in a White Chicken Chili that I make (recipe to be posted soon!).
So yesterday, instead of off brand Great Northern Beans, I substituted the Allens Brand. I wasn't sure I would be able to tell the difference. There aren't many Brand name items we buy. Most everything is the store brand, and there is no difference.
Just to see, I didn't tell my Husband about it. I wanted to see if he noticed on his own. Guess what? He did! He asked what I did different, and I told him I added Allens Great Northern Beans. I can't say that we'll go out of our way to buy them normally, but if I find a good sale, I will!

Now for the fun part, Allens is hosting a "Feast Your Veggies on This" contest!

"To celebrate Eat All Your Veggies Day on June 17, Allens has cooked up the “Feast Your Veggies on This” Recipe Contest that’s sure to please your taste buds.

The top three recipes will be chosen in each of three categories: family entrées, southern favorites and appetizers/side dishes. The top winner in each category will receive a one year supply of Allens brand vegetables. Second place will receive a six month supply and third place will receive a one month assortment."
