"At Horizon™ we are committed to supporting the health of families and our planet with delicious, innovative, responsibly produced organic and natural dairy foods. Founded in 1991, Horizon is a pioneer in the organic industry, and we were the first company to supply organic milk nationally. We are proud to work with more than 500 organic family farms across the country. We are now expanding into natural foods as we continue our dedication to providing healthy options for families. Why do we do what we do? Because we believe everyone should be able to buy high-quality, great-tasting products that are produced with integrity."Last month, Horizon was kind enough to send me some coupons to try their Organic Chocolate Milk (2 free coupons and 2 for $1 off). We usually knock all of our errands out at once by shopping for groceries at Wal-Mart (ugh!) so I checked there first. Of course, they didn't have it. Thankfully, the next grocery store did.
Now, I'm Lactose Intolerant.
And some dairy really bothers Lovebug. However, that doesn't stop me from occasionally indulging. And I figured the Horizon Organic Chocolate Milk would be my indulgence! As I opened the container, I was hoping it wouldn't let me down.• Carry the USDA certified organic seal
• Are produced in partnership with nearly 500 family farms
• Help convert more land to earth-friendly organic agriculture
• Support kindness to animals and the environment
Yummm! It was delicious! Even my husband agreed that Horizon was some of the best Chocolate Milk he'd ever had. I tried letting Lovebug have a sip, but she refused it totally. Which is fine by me. We enjoyed it though, and I had a little more than I planned to.
Horizon isn't just Milk! They also have Yogurt, Cheese, Cream, Ice Cream (yumm!) and lots of other products! You can check out their full product line up on their site!
Horizon has generously offered to give two Moma Lovebug readers the same coupons to try the Horizon Organic Chocolate Milk for free!

OMG, somehow storebought chocolate milk ALWAYS tastes better than adding choco syrup to white milk. DHA is found in breast milk. Yay! I'm still nursing the babe

DHA is found primarily in fatty fish, and most people, especially children don't get enough.

DHA promotes heart health and possibly has an impact on adult eye health and mental acuity.
