Re:newal Water Review!

"water and oil simply do not mix. that’s why our bottle is made from surplus plants and not petroleum-based plastic. the materials used are grown from our own soil, and just as easily returned to it. through our partnership with NatureWorks, we use the Ingeo polymer to create our bottles. this ingenious polymer offers unique alternatives to traditional PET bottles, including 100% recycling, industrial composting, and even incineration.

re:newal spring water is a corn based bottle. this PLA bottle is a biodegradable water bottle, with the great taste of a natural spring water."

I recently had the pleasure of trying out re:newal. I'll be the first to say I usually avoid plastic bottles at all cost. But after learning that the bottle and label is corn based, I wanted to try it.

The re:newal bottle itself is recyclable and can even be composted in an industrial composter. So, don't throw this in your back yard compost, it's not quite the same thing. The water inside is spring water from Florida that has been filtered.

Coming from a town that doesn't care about their water supply, I can easily say that the Florida Spring water is pretty good! You can even check their latest water analysis out on their website!

Sure, it's not as great as a reusable container would be, but if you're in a pinch and you have the choice, re:newal is a great option!

You can find re:newal on Twitter and Facebook.

*I received bottles of re:newal free of charge in exchange for this review. The opinions expressed are my own*
