I recently become interested in bento style lunches. All of the cute little shapes and designs, and even the adorable lunch boxes! What isn't to like about a bento? EasyLunchBoxes was one of the first products recommended to me. I checked out their website and saw how great their product would be for a first time bento maker. Even better, the container and cooler make a great kid friendly lunch bag! (I'm thinking way ahead for Lovebug hehe)

A few weeks ago, I received a set of containers and a cooler bag from EasyLunchBoxes to review. Since we left for vacation, I didn't get to do much with them, other than clean them. It had been the original plan to take one with us to try at the beach, but in the hustle of last minute packing, it was left behind.

Once we returned home, I wanted to put it to the test. Even though we weren't planning an outting, I decided to use the EasyLunchBoxes container for my meal. I packed a yummy sandwich in the larger opening, and then pita chips and hummus in the other two smaller compartments.

I shook it around a bit, just to simulate traveling with it. I wanted to see if any of the food would leak out or into the wrong compartment. I can happily say that it all stayed where it was supposed to! And while I haven't created any super cute bento lunches for Lovebug yet, I know that EasyLunchBoxes will be something we rely on for a long time!

When we first got them, husband I were discussing getting even more once we get a deep freezer. That way, we'll have personal meals ready when we need them!

I can't comment on the cooler too much, as we haven't had a chance to use it, but it looks sturdy enough that I could send it to school with my child and not worry about it holding up!

And in case you're wondering, and I'm sure you are. EasyLunchBoxes is FDA approved. No BPA, phthalates, lead, vinyl, or PVC. Safe for dishwasher, freezer, and microwave.
